A temple of glass and chrome, Hotel Josef is Prague's key design hotel.
If you are a fan of the Starck school of design, you will feel right at home in Czech interior designer Eva Jiricna's transparent and semi-transparent rooms and bathrooms.
Located in the old part of town, the hotel is close to good boutiques, restaurants and some of Prague's famous sights, such as Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square, Charles Bridge, Powder Tower, Opera and concert halls.

Of the 110 rooms, two categories are available: standard offers normal bathrooms and fewer perks, whereas superior rooms have the transparent bathrooms. WGSN recommends booking room 704 to experience the freestanding bath and transparent shower.
All rooms are soundproofed, comfortable and equipped with DVD players and high-speed internet access (free access is available on the computers in the business lounge).
The lobby bar offers drinks, snacks and teas. Guests can buy Hotel Josef's own branded wines from the lobby – pick from Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Famos and Zweigelt.
Buffet-style breakfast is served until 11.30am. For the athletic, there are fitness facilities on the top floor.
